What is a Duplicate Opportunity and how does it work?
Duplicate opportunity allows QuickConnect users to replicate or duplicate any existing opportunity in the same pipeline.
This may be optional but very beneficial for tracking purposes. If your office wants to track how many leads have been to which stages, you could Allow Duplicate Opportunity.
For example, if the lead has been to the no show stage and has rescheduled, it will leave an opportunity card both in the no show and appointment booked stage. Thus, allowing us to separately count them as opportunities.
In addition, a number of Facebook leads may sign up more than once or re-register as a new lead even after booking an appointment. If you want to keep separate tabs of each of their activities, allowing duplicate opportunities is your best option.
Below is the process on how duplicate opportunities are created in QuickConnect.
In Quickconnect, go to the left hand menu and click on Opportunities.
Search for the lead’s name then click on it. A new window will open that will direct you to the lead’s profile.
Then on the left side of the lead’s profile, scroll down and look for Opportunities.
Click on the Add icon under Opportunities.
Fill out the required fields in the pop up box.
Click on Add to save.
A new profile with the same lead’s credential should be added in the same pipeline.
Please note that Duplicate Opportunities are not counted as new leads, however, this will help you track how many leads have been to which pipeline stages.
